Community Days

While Harriet Beecher Stowe and her neighbors cultivated their 19th century Nook Farm neighborhood, we in the 21st century are celebrating this same area, and creating a space that is welcoming and inclusive to everyone. Community Days are a celebration of and for our neighbors.

The events, which are free, family friendly, and open to the public, will take place on our campus: the Stowe House, the Day House, and the Stowe Center Grounds. Tours will be available to attendees for regular admission as well as special workshops.

Our next Community Day is June 8, 2024, where we will mark Harriet Beecher Stowe’s birthday and co-host programming in collaboration with The Mark Twain House and Museum and Asylum Hill Neighborhood Association, and December 21, 2024, to celebrate the winter solstice.

See our Calendar of Events for more details.
