  • Stowe Visitor Center | 77 Forest Street, Hartford

Join us for a powerful and creative conclusion to the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center’s May series, Revolutionary [RE]Imagining, with Kamora’s Cultural Corner. On May 31st, community leader and cultural curator Kamora Herrington will guide friends, families and individuals through an immersive, hands-on canvas art experience rooted in the KCC I.D.E.A. (Identity, Diversity, Equity, Application) roadmap.

This unique event will foster connection, reflection, and storytelling through collaborative art-making. Participants will co-create three original community canvas works, each one reflecting the identities, voices, and visions of those present. The pieces will represent the ideas and stories shared throughout the experience and explore new possibilities sparked by the exhibit and the conversations it inspired.

This is a chance to connect with the exhibit through creativity and become part of a living expression of Revolutionary [RE]Imagining.

Free and open to all ages. Supplies provided, but please bring anything that you would like to be included on a canvas.
