  • Join and support initiatives led by Muslim people in your community
  • Speak out whenever you hear an Islamophobic comment
  • Educate yourself and others on Islamophobia
  • Follow and become connected with organizations that directly advocate for issues facing the Muslim community and work to end Islamophobia like Council on American-Islamic Relations, Muslim Coalition of Connecticut, and Common Ground Services
  • Organize an inter-faith gathering with your church, synagogue, and local mosque
  • Debunk and speak out against stereotypes of the Muslim community
