The Stowe Center Welcomes Cat White as Director of Public Programs

The Harriet Beecher Stowe Center announces the appointment of Cat White as the organization’s new Director of Public Programs.  She comes to us from the Springfield Museums where she worked in the archives and collections, and guest-curated an exhibit grounded in decolonization practice, which centers Indigenous perspectives, and connects historical documents to ongoing issues. At the Stowe Center, she will cultivate and build relationships with local social justice organizations and advocates to collaborate on programs that reflect national importance and have local impact. She envisions the Stowe Center as a site where history and current work meet to inspire people to take action to create a better world.
