Group & School Visits

Experience a tour like no other at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center!

Connect the Past to the Present through Dialogue.

We talk together at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center. Immersed in the 19th century Victorian home of Harriet Beecher Stowe, Museum Guides share information about Stowe, her family, her place in literary and social justice history, and how her work and the issues she addressed in the past are still relevant today.

Museum Guides invite Visitors to reflect together on primary-source documents that illuminate social justice issues in the past. The Guides then facilitate conversations about how the past might be connected to the present.

If you are interested in participating in this unique experience, please join us for a tour. We offer:

TOURS FOR GROUPS OF 14 OR MORE ADULTS

SCHOOL TOURS AND OTHER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING

Please note: all group tours require at least four (4) weeks of advance notice.

Contact our Visitor Experience Manager, Anita Durkin, at ADurkin@stowecenter.org to book programs for both children and adults, or to answer questions related to group tours. We look forward to talking with you!
